Fiji program

The Fiji program is successfully upskilling nurses and doctors in the Pacific Island nations with endoscopy skills and standards for cleaning and disinfection. The program has been running since 2008, with nurses involved since 2009. GENCA is instrumental in the selection of nurses and provision of supporting documentation to participate in the World Gastroenterology Association Training program in Fiji and the Pacific Island nations. All program participants and volunteers have had a very positive experience, with mutual benefits.

ANZGITA invites registrations of interest from nurses who would like to find out more. For nurses interested in the work or contributing on a training program, more information is available here. Submit a registration of interest here
