What is required to Recredential?
During your 3rd year, COGEN will send out an invitation for your submission to retain your nominal. This will involve the development of a clinical portfolio for the past 3 years and verification of your recency of practice hours. A one-page reflection of your clinical practice from the past year will also be required. You will need to download the recredentialing handbook and complete the application forms and reporting templates then submit them to the COGEN President as per the handbook.
The COGEN Board will assess the portfolio and if validated, your credential will be continued for a further 3 years.
Some submissions will be audited as a quality control process.
