Full Membership
Shall be open to any natural person who is a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse engaged in the full-time or part-time practice of Gastroenterological Nursing in either a clinical, educational, research managerial or supervisory capacity. Attend Annual General Meetings of the College and meetings of its state/territory regions, but are entitled to vote at such meetings and can nominate Lifetime and Honorary members.
Associate membership is open to any person not entitled to full membership but has aparticular interest in Gastroenterological nursing and attend Annual General Meetings of the College and meetings of its state/territory regions, but are not entitled to vote at such meetings nor be eligible for grants.
Becoming a member shows your commitment to your professional development in the field of Gastroenterology Nursing and ensuring that you continue to provide a high standard of care to your patients.

GENCA provides support and is actively involved in the following areas:
- National Standards and Guidelines.
- Educational Courses and a Credentialling program.
- College representation at state, national and international forums.
